  • I think what happened to this kid is terrible, but every year about 8,000 blacks are murdered in the U.S. 94% of those are committed by other blacks. So why the outrage here? Because he wasnt killed by one of his own.

  • I cant believe that there are still people who believe that banning guns will solve the problem of innocent people dying by gunfire. It really is difficult for me to cite an example of logic that is more flawed. And I dont even own a gun. I dont bother debating someone who thinks this way.

  • OK, as a constituent in Mrs Giffords' district, this is long overdue, so thats good. We will at least get some representation back. Gabby's story has truly been inspirational and I wish her the best of success in her recovery, but whats missing in this story is that the timing of this is no accident.
